TRY SCUBA DIVE 

• Do you want to try scuba diving but unsure whether you will like it and don’t want to commit to a full course?
• Don’t have enough time for a full course but want to experience the thrill of entering a new world and breathing underwater?

Well then a Try Scuba Dive is just for you!!
The Try Scuba Diving  takes half a day, during this time you will watch a short DVD and have a briefing with your Instructor where you will learn some basic knowledge about diving and the skills and equipment you will be using. We have a ratio of 1 Instructor: 2 Try Scuba Divers which is for your comfort and safety!

Once your briefing session is complete we take you by boat to the Cook Island Marine Reserve ( 20 minutes boat trip) for your very first ocean dive. When you first jump in the water we will run you through some very important in water skills and get you comfortable in the water before descending down for your dive.

The dive takes around 30-45 minutes with a maximum depth of 12 meters. Your experienced  Instructor will show you the magic of Cook Island, where you will see green sea turtles, tropical and sub tropical fish, beautiful hard and soft corals, sea anemones and clown fish and much much more!!!

WHAT DO YOU NEED

• Be a Minimum age of 10
• Towel, swimmers and sunscreen.
• To be prepared  for an amazing experience.
• Deal with sea sickness if  it affects you!!
• Pickups are available from Surfers Paradise down to Kingscliff a fee does apply

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Things that may restrict you from being able to participate in a Try Scuba Dive!

• Asthma
• Epilepsy
• Recent surgery
• Sinus conditions (The Flu, Cold)
• Some other medical condition’s

All  Try Scuba dive participents must sign a medical waiver, and if you tick yes to some of the questions you will need to see a doctor if you would like to participate!
