At Cooly Dive, our commitment to you is THIS: If at any stage in the course you are not comfortable or confident to progress to the next stage an Instructor will spend the extra time with you to get you Comfortable. For Example if your not CONFIDENT enough to go from the pool training to the ocean dives, then at No Extra Charge we will re-schedule you additional time with an Instructor in the pool either with a group or one on one to ensure your comfort. By making sure you are comfortable and confident diver we can be sure you will have a passion for diving just as strong as us!!

With your Open Water Course you will receive a “Learn to dive book pack” which is the most upto date high quality Educational material, which is far superior to any other diver training program available on the Gold Coast. This course meets all the Australian standards and is Nationally Recognised Training.

Our class sizes are limited to 4 people per Instructor with an extra two with an Assistant (max 6 per course) to make sure every one gets the benefit of a more personal experience and a higher quality level of training with more one on one time with the Instructor.

We use the highest quality dive equipment for your training this is equipment we dive in ourselves, rather than standard dive-school equipment. “Remember This Is Your Life Support System” We also have the Largest Dive Boat on the gold coast for your maximum comfort. Try Scuba Diving
Do you want to try scuba diving but unsure whether you will like it and don’t want to commit to a full course?
Don’t have enough time for a full course but want to experience the thrill of entering a new world and breathing underwater for the first time?
Well then a Try Scuba Dive is just for you!!
The Try Scuba Diving takes half a day, during this time you will have a briefing with your Instructor where you will learn some basic knowledge about diving and the skills and equipment you will be using. We have a ratio of 1 Instructor: 2 Try Scuba Divers which is for your comfort and safety and this ratio is much lower then any other operation!!

Open Water Diver Course
Your Open water course is your first step into the diving world. Once you complete your SSI Open Water Diver Course you will have an internationally recognised certification, which allows you to dive anywhere in the world to 18m with a dive buddy.
All our training is done out at our training dive site, the amazing Cook Island marine reserve one of the best dive sites of South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
