GREY NURSE AT COOK!! 25/7
Today we had an unexpected surprise waiting for us out at Cook Island. When we got out there the conditions were good 10m vis with 20 deg water not bad for winter. As we jumped in and headed down the wall it started off as a usual dive with the turtles every where lots of fish some schools of kingfish cruising around. From there we headed out to the turtle sanctuary and out in the distance there was a dark shadow slowly moving towards us once it came into view we realised what it was a grey nurse about 2.5m long what a find. The Shark slowly swam past and continued on his way(such an amazing creature), after seeing that we headed back to the wall and were headed for the boat as we swam along the wall another smaller nurse swam strait towards us went directly below us didn’t mind at all that we were in its way. Hopefully they hang around and become a regular sight out at cook
You never no what your gunna see when you go for a dive.
