SCUBA DIVING REFRESHER COURSE

Not been diving for a while?

Want to get back into diving, but a bit rusty with some of your skills?

A Refresher course is just what you need to get your confidence back and get you in the water?

 TUNE UP DIVE!!

You’ve done lots of dives but haven’t dived for awhile and your confident that your skill are still good, but just for peace of mind, you would like a little help or few tips when your getting ready and  going for your dive!!
So all you need is a little help from an Instructor or Divemaster to guide you through the gear assembly, and then supervise and help you if you need it, during your dives!
There is a small charge for this help, just let us no when you book in and we will assign a Dive Master to give you a helping hand. The cost for  the DM is $75 plus the normal cost of your dive trip with us.

SCUBA SKILLS UPDATE!!

Did you do a dive course and not continued diving, or stopped diving for a long period of time?

You’ve forgotten some of the skills and theory (RDP etc) you learnt !

A Scuba Review is just what you need!

We start you off  by giving you a Scuba review Book and the Open Water DVD to watch, Once you have completed this we get you into the classroom for a short theory session and we run you through the all the equipment again.

Once your knowledge is back up to scratch depending how comfortable you are we will either head to the swimming pool With your Instructor for a  pool session, this is usually conducted on an afternoon the day before your dive trip/ or complete the same skills in the Open Water. 

During the pool session we get you back being familiar and comfortable with your gear and practice a few of the main skills like buoyancy control, regulator recovery and mask clearing.
Once your comfortable with all of this, then we head out on one of our normal dives, were we take you on a guided dive with the Instructor who will be there to help you out if needed!

 Cost
Scuba Review with 2 Dives at the Cook Island Marine Reserve - $ 220.00

Included:

• Theory session and Books
• Pool session and 2 x open water dives
• An Instructor 

Not Included:

Dive equipment required for the course is not included in the price but can be hired for the duration of the course for $50. 

Requirements:

• You need proof of your certification no matter how old it is?
• You must be in good physical health.
• Your own personal snorkeling equipment. WH&S recommends that each person uses their own personal snorkelling  items to reduce the possibility of disease transmission.
