Advanced Adventurer
The Advanced Adventurer course is your next step once you’re completed your open water diver certification.
This course gives you a chance to try some of the many specialty courses that are available. This course can be completed in 3 days or we can arrange for you to complete it over a couple of weekends.
The Advanced Adventurer course involves 5 adventure dives, Deep dive (30m), Navigation, Drift, Night and a “elective” dive. Each Adventure Dive in the SSI Advanced Adventurer course credit towards the first dive of the corresponding Specialty Course.
During this course you will expand on your diving skills, knowledge and confidence. These adventure dives allow you to explore each new diving enviroment safely and closely supervised by your Experienced Instructor.

Dive Equipment:
We Don’t included gear hire as some people have already started purchasing/or purchased there own Total Diving System, So if you do require gear hire for the duration of the course it can be hired at a special course hire rate of $50.
You must have your own personal snorkelling equipment. WH&S recommends that each person uses their own personal snorkelling items to reduce the possibility of disease transmission. Snorkelling packages are available to buy at special student discount rates.
Requirements
- Minimum age 15
- Hold an SSI Open Water Certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
- Log book proof you have completed a dive within the last 12 months, if not a refresher course is recommended. The Refresher course can be combined with the Advanced Adventurer course
